Cutting large steel pipes is not just about separating the pipe. In real working conditions, operation stability, cutting quality, and easy on-site handling are equally important.
We recently filmed a factory test video of the CM-20 pipe cutting machine. The video shows the CM-20 cutting steel pipe in a real workshop environment, giving a direct view of its cutting process and overall performance.
CM-20 Factory Cutting Test Video
The CM-20 is designed for 8"–20" steel pipes and galvanized pipes. It is suitable for workshop fabrication, pipe prefabrication, and job site cutting work. When cutting large-diameter or long pipes, stable pipe support plays an important role in achieving a smooth and steady cutting process.
Cold Cutting, No Flame or Sparks
The CM-20 adopts a cold cutting method, with no open flame and no sparks during operation. Compared with flame cutting, this process is more suitable for many job site conditions and can also help reduce additional finishing work caused by heat-affected cutting.
After the cut is completed, the pipe end remains clean and smooth, making the machine suitable for applications where cutting quality is important.
The CM-20 is supplied with an upgraded blade for steel and galvanized pipes. The blade supports a maximum cutting wall thickness of 13 mm.
A more durable blade helps maintain a stable cutting process and provides more consistent cutting performance during repeated use.
Separate Hydraulic System
The CM-20 uses a separate hydraulic pump and cylinder structure. Its sealed hydraulic pump helps prevent dust from entering the hydraulic system and reduces the risk of oil contamination.
This design can help reduce the frequency of oil changes, extend the service life of the pump, and support long-term use in workshops and job sites.
The CM-20 is equipped with transport wheels and a handle, making it easier to move around the workshop or job site. This is especially helpful when working with long pipes or when the machine needs to be repositioned during operation.
The CM-20 pipe cutting machine is designed for cold cutting 8"–20" steel and galvanized pipes. It features no-flame, no-spark cutting, a clean cutting edge, up to 13 mm cutting wall thickness, a separate hydraulic system, and convenient mobility.
The factory test video offers a clear look at how the CM-20 performs under real cutting conditions. For large steel pipe cutting work, it is a practical pipe cutting machine for workshops, prefabrication work, and job sites.
